Night School is a great opportunity for students to redo a course for a higher mark. It is also a great option for students missing a course for post-secondary programming.
Night School runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 pm to 9:21 pm.
Students are expected to attend both the Tuesday and Thursday classes each week, from Feb. 20, 2025 to May 29, 2025. (27 nights)
5:30 - 6:30 pm: Synchronous Lesson
6:30 - 7:00 pm: Teacher Conferencing / Student Assessment (synchronous)
7:00 - 7:45 pm: Asynchronous Learning
7:45 - 8:00 pm: Break
8:00 - 8:45 pm: Synchronous Lesson
8:45 - 9:15 pm: Teacher Conferencing / Student Assessment (synchronous)
9:15 - 9:21 pm: Wrap-up / Updates to Google Classroom (asynchronous)
If you are interested, a parent must fill out the Google Form Night School request
Registration starts on Jan. 13, and it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that Night School is organized by the Continuing Education Department at the OCDSB. Confirmation of acceptance into the course will be emailed to you by OCDSB's Continuing Education Department late January/early February.
