Final evaluations and exams will be held for all courses, across all grades. It is essential for students to attend and participate each day to ensure they complete their final evaluations and receive their course credit. Missing or incomplete evaluations may result in not earning credit for the course.
Important Dates for Final Evaluations and Exams:

January 22nd & 23rd: Last regular classes for all subjects. Students will receive their evidence record, which includes a summary of their performance in class assignments. This record highlights areas of strength and areas where additional evidence will be collected during the final evaluations. Teachers will also provide details on how their final evaluations will be structured (e.g., exam, performance task, exit interviews, etc.).

January 24th: Period 1 (A) – 8:45 AM - 11:45 AM

January 27th: Period 2 (B) – 8:45 AM - 11:45 AM

January 28th: Period 3 (C) – 8:45 AM - 11:45 AM

January 29th: Period 4 (D) – 8:45 AM - 11:45 AM

January 30th: Inclement Weather Day – If needed, this day will be used for makeup exams or credit recovery opportunities for students who are at risk of not earning credit.

January 31st: Professional Development Day – No classes.

February 3rd: First day of Semester 2.

February 11th: Semester 1 Final Report Cards distributed.

Attendance: Students are expected to attend every day during the Final Evaluation period. If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please call the attendance line at 613-834-4500 Ext. 1 or email [email protected].

Leaving After Final Evaluations: Students may leave for the day once they have completed their final evaluation task.

Transportation: School buses and vans will run on a regular schedule from January 24th to 30th.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to discuss their child's progress and plans for the Final Evaluation/Exam days to ensure a smooth completion of the semester.
